you are feeling so bad you don't even get on the Internet for close to a week!!! I have been super duper mega ill to the point that after suffering through last Friday and Saturday and most of Sunday I finally just went to Urgent Care at the emergency room... and tested positive for strep throat :( so I finally got antibiotics and painkillers .... thanks be to God. Monday was the holiday and I also missed Tuesday and Wednesday from work. I was totally bummed cos I had been so, so looking forward to the 3 day weekend, I had a bunch of fun plans, the weather was dreamy and there I was flat on my face ill... I am still not 100% but like heck if I am going to sit around all weekend again!! We are headed out tonight to the Warrior Dash set for tomorrow :) to run a 5 k in the wilderness full of Obstacles (pronounced as they do in O Brother Where art Thou?) Obstacles like 20 foot rope nets, repelling cliffs, waist deep water with logs you have to climb over, running through fire and crawling through mud pits :) it should be crazy and fun... I am still kind of weak from being ill so I will probably pass out in the 1st half of mile one BUT I AM DOING IT!!! X The weather looks promising and the restaurant that is owned by our company (the one I work for) is catering all food and bevy for the event and I will be running with my girls Boisie and Kaffryn and others... I only wish I cud bring Gussy to pull me a long :) We will let you know how it goes x

In other news.... I have passed the executive committee deliberations, turned in a treatment proposal and cost estimate... feeling quite official and like a real private conservator with my own personally designed proposal/estimate forms look at me go...... the painting will be here by the end of the month... or so is the current plan x

is it crazy that I am feeling extremely sentimental that my baby brother is about to have a baby of his own?? Is it insane that I can remember the details of the night Mikey was born so clearly that it seems impossible to me that he is old enough to be bringing his own child into the world??? Well... I'm reminiscing and remembering and smiling inside myself thinking about him sitting in a drawer making peanut butter sandwiches and hearing him tell me years later in the same kitchen that his whole life hes thought that peanut butter is GREEN :) and thinking about how he wanted 'buttermilk biscuits... i mean pancakes' and lots of other funny and cute stuff. I am proud of you boogle haus x and excited for you x and will be waiting with baited breath all day to hear that little Mikey is here... or Rabies or baby bug or whatever we will call him :) xxxxxx 

Will be thinking of you lots Jess... it is almost time, he is almost here and all you have gone through is about to be worth it.... ????? lol xx I cant wait to meet him x

So I got an email from Dad... letting me know that the city they live in was settled by Germans... so the town is known for its world famous beer and I am not surprised that dad has already tried the etho-free brews silly daddy x He says its not as good as the European kind They sure sound like they are already having the adventure of a lifetime and Dad has already managed to have a 'christian discussion' with a professor on campus.. I am guessing the Chinese man brought up the subject since that is against the rules for Mom and Dad....

I am keeping very busy with work and trying to get stuff done in the studio... I am lucky to have a few lovely things in right now and the hope of some super duper lovely things soooon... I just got paid today and so am headed to the photography shop soon to purchase a set of lights on stands that I can change the bulbs on and add defusing umbrellas to and do all sorts of cool stuff with :)....  and I am also trying to help Boisie out with her new venture by going to and hosting some parties... I am no salesman but Boise is doing GREAT... I wish she knew that she could accomplish absolutely ANYTHING she sets her mind to... ANYTHING. 

Nothing too exciting to tell you about work... I moved my work station so that I have a giant window right along my desk and the temperature is about 10 degrees warmer there... good since I was wearing scarves and sweaters to work in August (they keep it sooo cold in the office)... and good because the sun can come in the window and fall on my face and lift my spirits a little bit. Jeff has me running in circles constantly and everyone else is always giving me things to do as well... but busy Jenn = happier Jenn. Tomorrow we have a Ems night to thank us for having our big client night there.... so 50 of us get to eat BBQ, drink ETHO-full beers (lol) and enjoy a game without having to run around like crazy people. In related news... first Duck game of the season is coming up... and everyone here is getting wack-a-doodle excited gooooooooo ducks!!!
